…Radio One Hot 107.9 Partners once again this Holiday Season with Saving Our Daughters for little girls

First of all, the Saving Our Daughters family would like to give our condolences & prayers to all the parents and the city of New Town Connecticut, for their lost of  1st graders and  teachers on Friday, December 14th.  

For the last 8 years, Saving Our Daughters has introduced positive themes within the entertainment industry for the annual Bratz Doll drive which included, Bernie Mac Show, House of Payne, and popular artists in Hip-Hop.

This years’ doll drive was no different, for on Friday December 14th, the memory of Founders Curtis & Deborah Benjamin’s daughter, Iliss Benjamin, the celebrity theme was the cast of the Rickey Smiley Show that included Executive Producer Roger Bobb, actresses Demetria McKinney & Ajiona Alexus.

Also joined this year, comedian Joe Clair, Reality Personality of RealHousewives of Atlanta, Porsha Stewart and celebrity photographer Derek Blanks and his full team, surprised the kindergarten garden class and teachers of Bethune Elementary in Atlanta with their favorite Bratz Dolls.  Cleveland Ohio’s own, David Tolliver, from the R&B group back in day, Man at Large,- ended the holiday event with a Christmas song.

Saving Our Daughters would like to take time to thank all of our doll contributors this year that made our Iliss Bratz Doll Drive an overwhelming success in Atlanta and Philadelphia branches.

On Wednesday December 19th, Radio Ones’ 100.3, Ms. Lady B and Saving Our Daughters’ Ambassador, Ms. Teenen Perkins will be having  special celebrity call ins at the station for their Bratz Doll drive for their lil girls in Philadelphia.
