Actress, singer & songwriter, Drew Sidora is preparing for one of her most iconic roles in film on VH1 playing T-Boz of TLC in Crazy, Sexy Cool: The TLC Story; she is also taking time to lend her brand on helping her peers against the senseless acts of date abuse.
Drew is no stranger of these topics as she is one of the lead ambassadors for Liz Claiborne’s LOVE IS NOT ABUSE campaign and curriculum, which addresses teen dating abuse. THE LOVE IS NOT ABUSE curriculum is a step-by-step guide teaching high school students about the issues of dating violence. Using literature and poetry, this program provides teachers with the tools to teach about this subject.
Ms. Sidora’s manager. Ms. Alison Jordan was approached by the Saving Our Daughters’ organization to request to enlist her client and based on Ms. Sidora’s past history on working on the subject of teen dating abuse-Drew would be an awesome fit with the Yell cause.
Drew will be joining many influential women in the music & sport industry, such as Kelly Rowland, Monica , KeKe Wyatt and selected players from the WNBA Atlanta Dream.
