On Thursday, November 16th and a just a week before the Thanksgiving Holiday, Saving Our Daughters was so excited to have young actress, Notlim Taylor, to make her special “Celebrity Godparent” Cinderella visit at the East Los Angeles Risen formerly the Boys & Girls Club of East LA.
Notlim, who stars on the NBC comedy series “Marlon” served as a mentor for the Saving Our Cinderellas program, who discussed her character role on her visit as Marlon Wayne’s Daughter ‘Marley,’ and conducted fun, skill-building acting excises to prepare her Cinderellas for auditions and careers within entertainment. She also shared, how much fun and what she learned on working on set with the number one comedian, Kevin Hart.
Notlim also involved her brother, TJ Taylor in the discussion, who is also a young actor in the business, and most recently starred alongside, Academy Award Winner and Golden Globe Winner, Viola Davis, on her ABC’s hit drama series, “How to Get a Away with Murder”.
The brother and sister tagged team on the many issues of bullying and how they deal with it, in and out of school.
They both join an awesome cast of past young actors as “Celebrity Godparent” mentors, within the program such as, “Blackish” star Yara Shahidi, “This is Us” star Eris Baker, Kyla Drew of Nickelodeon’s “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn” and Talitha Bateman, who most recently starred in the scary film series, “Annebelle”.
