On Tuesday February 25th, Alexa Swinton from her amazing role as Piper in ABC’s Emergence, mentored her Keke’s Cinderellas Class at the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon in New York City.

Alexa became a Celebrity Godparent for Saving Our Daughters to discuss her love of acting with Cinderellas participants, simultaneously inspiring them to believe in the seemingly impossible within the arts industry.

Alexa’s mom, Inna Swinton who also attended that day, stated “Alexa and I loved our visit with the lovely Cinderellas! It was so much fun to share Alexa’s story and to learn about the girls who are part of the program.  Also Alexa was excited to have her sister and brother along – family is an essential part of Alexa’s daily life and professional pursuits and successes.

We loved making a tik tok video together which Alexa posted on her new tik tok account.  And we loved the pizza 🍕

In addition to acting, Alexa has literary interests, and is collaborating with her mother on a debut book project. The two share a passion for writing and storytelling, which also sown the road can contribute to the vital literacy and reading components of Keke Palmer’s Cinderellas Program.

At a young age, Alexa Swinton has leaped into her role as Piper in the series, Emergence; Police chief (Allison Tolman), takes her character in after finding her near the site of a mysterious accident.  The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity, performed by Swinton, is at the center of it all.
