On Sunday, May 20th another phenomenal evening went down at the 2018 Ron Clark Academy Graduation Ceremony at the Coca Cola Roxy Center.

Over 25 incredible Ron Clark Academy graduates were promoted and will be attending their respective high schools next fall.  Graduation included some of the girls who participate in the Saving Our Cinderella program since 2015.

The RCA Gradation did not disappoint, as the ceremony included rap artists’, Nova, The Back-Pack Kid, and special surprise celebrity guest, Serayah McNeill, who plays Tiana, in the hit show Empire who also is also a “Celebrity Godparent” mentor for the Cinderella program.

The graduation class danced with Serayah while she performed a special rendition of one of the hit songs from the show, “No Competition.”  Serayah was teamed up with one of the 8th grade graduates that performed the rapped verses on the song, (originally recorded by actor, Bryshere Y. Gray, of Empire).

Serayah has been a mentor for the Cinderellas program since 2016 and was thrilled as she witnessed the 2018 graduation class first hand and stated “I was so blown away at this graduating 8th grade class. They are sophisticated, smart, and very talented! I enjoyed celebrating with them; thanks, Saving Our Daughters! I’m so excited for our future with these bright kids.”

The RCA Graduation class was also pleasantly surprised by a special shout out via video from Disney’s’ “Wrinkle In Time”, young lead actress, Storm Reid, as the class just screamed as they watched her congratulations video to them.

Again, what an evening for the RCA Graduation Class and we are so proud for their accomplishments over their 4 years and their next journey in their education.
